Rich Brown Broth

One ingredient that could save you a lot of time and add more flavor to your dishes is broth. It somehow tastes even way better when you make it at home. It can be used in sauces, quick noodles and stews even. This rich brown broth will save you time and make your dishes 💯x better.

Recipe

What you need

5 large carrots

2 large onions cut in halves

Sprigs of thyme

3 bayleaf

2 Celery sticks chopped roughly

2 large garlic cloves cut in halve

I tablespoon cumin

1 teaspoon coriander

1/2 teaspoon cloves

I teaspoon nigella seeds (optional)

 

Directions 

Wash bones and clean. Pour bones on a lined baking tray or large flat pan. Add carrot, onion and garlic and roast until bones aregolden brown.  Pour roasted bones in a long pan and add the. Cumin, nigella seeds , bayleaf and coriander. Add enough water to cover the bones completely. Cool on low heat for 4+ hrs or until it reduces to desired thickness, about a cup. Save and use in sauces or noodles. Don’t add salt.
